Classics for everybody
Almost nothing represents Austrian tradition and craftsmanship like porcelain manufactured by the Vienna Porcelain Manufacture located in the Augarten. But Augarten porcelain, with its famous blue Bindenschild coat of arms, is not only being used by high society. By revisiting and refreshing Augarten's classic styles, the company has reached a younger group of buyers.
Since 1718 the intricate production process hasn't changed: Vases, cups figurines and so forth are being poured in moulds, glazed and painted by hand. Polishing with sand and agate stone brings out the shine in golden and platinum ornaments.
