Half built and furnished in the authentic European architectural style of the early 20th century, half as a traditional Japanese home, it is still owned by the Nishikawa family, who have been producing traditional Japanese porcelain since 1917 and today also contemporary ceramics.
On display will be a best-of of Austrian and Japanese craftsmanship: from ceramic/porcelain objects and silver cutlery to mouth-blown glass and chandeliers, award-winning interior design, textiles, fragrances, jewelry creations that reflect the cultures of both countries and culinary specialties:
Every hour, a renowned tea and ikebana master invites our guests to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and the lady of the house guides you on a tour through the typical Japanese garden.
Master craftsmen and manufactory owners from Austria and Japan are present.
