“A photograph is a moment. When you press the button it will never come back.”
~ Rene Burri , London

Memories, dreams, connections and the fleeting moment are what interests me when I create photographic works. It is only since lockdown that I felt the overwhelming need to capture what was happening around us and to express this time of flux through photography. Whilst I have taken an interest in photography since childhood, it was events happening around us in lockdown that compelled me to share my work that I created during and after that time.
I have since continued to work on personal photographic projects.

I created a series entitled ‘Postcards from the Pandemic’ which was written about for the online publication of lockdown for the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) and after the two years of lockdown I self published my book ‘Together Apart’ and held an exhibition of my photographic works from the book, at White City House, London.
Previously I worked in creative establishments as a puppet maker for the Jim Henson Creature Workshop , art department assistant for BBC productions, and as a senior muralist and set decorator at the Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong. Throughout my travels in Asia i worked as a photography assistant and stylist and curated several photography and contemporary Asian art exhibitions.
