Under the patronage of the City and Prefecture of Kyoto and on invitation of Nishikawa, Hiyoshiya and MEISTERSTRASSE, the first major public Showcase for Craftsmanship Austria – Japan took place in the historic Prefectural Palace!

10 Japanese and 9 Austrian master artisans presented their outstanding craftsmanship in the hall of one of the most beautiful Meiji-era buildings – showcasing pieces that connect both countries.

MEISTERSTRASSE hosted a CRAFTS EVENT in the Austrian pavillion at the EXPO in Osaka:
15 artists, artisans and craftsmen and 2 Japanese producers presented their outstanding objects.
